The night diver speciality is a great way to see the reef in a totally different way.
The same reef at night is completely different. You will be able to Identify and understand more about nocturnal fish life and be able to dive safely with the newly mastered skills for night diving.
Who can take this course?
You must be PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization) and 12 years old
Dates arranged according to early darkness, not usually run in summer months.
What's involved ?
Three dives at night. You will cover correct use of lights and dealing with light loss. Identifying Nocturnal aquatic life on the reef.
How to enter and exit the water at night safely. Underwater communications using lights.
You will also cover navigation at night and a "lights-out" scenario.
Your certification will count towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver Rating.
How much will it cost?
£150 and includes the "Night Pak" consisting of the Night Diver Specialty Manual &Night Diver Specialty DVD.
Also Includes all main dive equipment and Registration Certification card (PIC) on completion of the course.
Are there any Extra~Hidden Costs?
You will also require a Dive Torch and a Back-up torch each approx £23
Also the Lake entry fee's usually £7:50 or boat fee's of £20 approx or if you choose to complete the course in the sea with us there is a 10% discount.
