If you would like to know more about how your equipment works then this specialist course is for you.

Who can take this course?

You must be a PADI Scuba Diver or Junior Scuba Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)

How long does it take?

Approximately half a day.

What's involved ?

Working with our instructor in our air conditioned classrooms you will cover:- the principles and operation of dive equipment including some theory.
Look at the care, maintenance, storage and common problems of dive equipment.
Advice and suggestions on how to check out new equipment.
There are no required dives for this course.
Although it is NOT a equipment repair course this can act as a good foundation to go on to complete a Repair course.
This Specialty does count towards your Master Scuba Diver Rating
