Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Specialty (EAN)

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course (EANx) allows you to safely extend your no-stop bottom time on a dive beyond the limits of air diving. This means more time underwater. Typically when you want to stay longer on that wreck compared to when you are on air, now you can. More time underwater means better value for your money in dive boat fees.

Who can take this course?

Must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization) and be minimum age of 15 years or older.

How long does it take?

Half a day for theory.
One day for dives if you choose to complete the elective dives.

divers down What's involved ?

You will learn how to analyse the contents of a Nitrox cylinder. Plan enriched air dives using tables and computers. Safely increase your no stop time.
Your certification will count towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver Rating.
The elective dive from the Adventures In Diving program may count toward the certification requirements of this specialty as well.

How much will it cost?

There are two methods to choose from:

Method 1
Theory only £99
You will receive the Enriched Air Diver Speciality Pack which includes the EANx Manual & the three dive planning slates also the Enriched Air Diver DVD.
Certification PIC card on completion of the course or

Method 2
Theory and 2 optional dives £149
You will receive the Enriched Air Diver Speciality Pack which includes the EANx Manual & the three dive planning slates also the Enriched Air Diver DVD.
Includes all equipment for the course and nitrox fills & certification PIC card on completion of the course

Are there any Extra~Hidden Costs?

We also supply free the Enriched Air Cylinders and Eanx mixes including Regulators if you do not alrerady have your own.
None other than the Lake entry fee's usually £7:50 or boat fee's, of £20 approx if you choose to complete the course in the sea.
