This course will give you the confidence to enjoy currents whether in the rivers or the sea and use them to your advantage. You will be able to have good communication with a dive boat knowing where you are. It allows you to "enjoy the ride" in the oceans currents.
Who can take this course?
You need to be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organization) and be at least 12 years old
Two dives.
You will cover planning organising, procedures techniques, problems and the hazards of drift diving. Also look at floats, reels, lines, buoyancy control,navigation and communication whilst drift diving. Dive site selection, an overview of currents and their causes and effects are also covered.
Your certification will count towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver Rating.
The elective dive from the Adventures In Diving program may count toward the certification requirements of this specialty as well.

£125
Includes all equipment for the course & certification PIC card on completion of the course.
You will need the Drift Diver Knowledge Review from the Adventures in Diving Manual (if you do not have the Adventures in Diving manual they are available from Dive Machine)
