Any PADI Master Instructor on application to PADI.

How long does it take?

10 days at a PADI Nominated location, usually in America or Malaysia.

What's involved ?
Being able to present the theory and Practical aspects of the IDC's. Understand correct and accurate assessments of Instructor academic presentation, Instructor confined water presentations and Instructor Open Water presentations.

The PADI Course Director rating denotes the highest instructor achievement in the PADI System of diver education.
To become a Course Director, you'll need to complete a PADI Course Director Training program with PADI, during which you’ll learn how to conduct PADI Instructor Development programs and gain experience in developing dive educators.
As a Course Director you’re among the dive industry’s most influential opinion makers and play a critical role in shaping the attitudes and abilities of PADI Instructors.
You’ll serve as role model for other PADI Members with respect to PADI instruction, diver training and professionalism.
To apply for a PADI Course Director Training program, you must meet all the necessary prerequisites.
As a PADI Career Development Centre for Kent and the South East we can assist you in your aim to become "Best of the Best."
We do not teach the course at Dive Machine however we will assist you in your endeavours to become a PADI Course Director.
