EFR (Emergency First Response) Child Care Provider
This course is similar to the Care for Children Course however it is aimed more specifically at
in the UK must have completed a suitable sanctioned paediatric first aid course and this course meets that requirement.
Anyone who is or wishes to work as a "Child Care Provider"
Approximately 12 hours
Dates for this course are arranged midweek on request.

One Rescuer CPR – Adult

One Rescuer CPR – Infant
AED - Adult & Child Optional Skill
Serious Bleeding Management
Shock Management
Spinal Injuries
Injury Assessment
Illness Assessment
Bandaging, scrapes, cuts & nosebleeds
Burns & Scalds
Anaphylactic Shock
Electric Shock
Foreign Bodies in eyes, ears and noses (inc eye injuries)
Bites & Stings
Hypothermia
Hyperthermia
Poisoning – plants, chemicals, etc
Febrile Convulsions
Epilepsy
Asthma
Sickle Cell
Diabetes
Meningitis & other serious sudden illness
Reporting & Documenting First Aid Emergencies
Scenarios and exam

And includes the following: Primary & Secondary Care Student Manual, Care for Children Student Manual.
