DSAT Gas Blender Course

Why take this course?

Now-a-days there are more divers diving with enriched air and this means the demand for enriched air fills is increasing. Dive centre's and clubs need someone to be qualified to mix these fills to meet the demand. This is where the DSAT Gas Blender course comes in. There are two certifications we teach the DSAT Gas Blender and DSAT Trimix Blender.

Who can take this course?

Anyone who is a PADI Enriched Air Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization) and is a minimum age of 18 years old

How long does it take?

Approximately half a day for each part.

What's involved ?

The DSAT Gas Blender course will train you as a qualified gas blender. It will allow you to provide gas mixes to correctly certified consumers who require mixed gas fills.
You will learn the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards with handling requirements and what specialised cleaning equipment is necessary. Finally, you will learn the five methods of obtaining the desired enriched air nitrox mix and the various methods used to obtain proper helium mixes.

Including Gas Blender Manual, Gas Blender CD-Rom and Certification Card Application.
