DAN Instructor Training Courses
To become a DAN Instructor you must complete the Instructor Qualification Course (IQC).
As an instructor candidate you will complete a Core Module that offers more information about DAN and explains how to teach each of the DAN programs.
You will then complete the course module for each DAN Training Program you are interested in teaching.
Prerequisites for the DAN Instructor Qualification Course are:-
* A DAN Member
* An active scuba diving instructor or a Divemaster
* Also be a Current CPR / EFR Instructor
* Be able to show documentation of First Aid training
* Have completed the DAN provider student module for the DAN course you wish to teach.
For each of the DAN IQC Modules:
Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
* CPR Instructor
Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies
* CPR Instructor
Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
* Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries Instructor
First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries
* CPR Instructor
Automated External Defibrillators for Scuba Diving
* CPR Instructor
Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen (REMO2™)
* Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries Instructor
The Core Module which must be completed first takes approximately 3 hours.
Each of the modules thereafter take approximately 3-4 hours.
Some home study with your Instructor manual prior to your session.
Knowledge Development with your instructor and Skills Development in the classroom.
Demonstration of competent teaching skills in each of the modules you wish to teach.
Complete an pass the short multiple choice quiz.
Core Module £199
