PADI Advanced Divers on our November AOW Course

PADI Divers Advanced Open Water course

Another superb weekend of diving.
Our Advanced Open Water Course students started their new experiences in diving with a pool review and Drysuit orientation in the pool 2 weeks ago.
This weekend they ventured to Holborough Lakes to complete their Drysuit, Navigation and Peak Performance Buoyancy elective dives.
We then ventured to Chepstow NDAC for the Deep and Wreck dives today.
The visibitity was in excess of 10 metres at Chepstow with a good 8-11 degrees in the water.
Theirbuoyancy control and comfort ain the water was seen to improve immensely over the 5 qualifying dives. During the dives at Chepstow they had oppertunity to dive several of the main features of the lake including both helicopters, the small airplane, double decker bus and the fuselage of the BA aircraft along with several other great attractions.
Tom, one of the students started his diving adventures back when he was just eight, completing his 5 Seal missions and then the 10 Master Seal team missions. During one of his seal missions he completed a pool night dive and is now looking forward to his Adventure night dive in 2 weeks time.
Well done to the students passing their AOW course and a huge thank you to all the staff who assisted in their training recently.

IMG_0096Congratulations to today’s Advanced Open Water, Deep specialty, Tec 45 and Tec 50 students.
We’ll done to you all.
Sorry not everyone is in the picture. These students remained to complete their knowledge review’s.
Sammy, Helen and Steve, you did a great job today.
I also had my most enjoyable Tec training dives with student’s. What I find most rewarding is seeing students that have struggled with skills earlier in their course show a sound level of competence after all their difficulties. Enjoy your diving.
