I have been diving for 12 years, absolutely love UK coastal waters, as well as tropical seas, with all the varied underwater scenery and marine life to be found. From Brighton last year we dived wrecks, the Pentrych and Indiana, a mass of colourful sea squirts, sponges and anemones. Then in Plymouth, the mighty HMS Scylla and James Egan Layne, with outstanding marine life, cup corals, eye-lash worms and pink sea fans. The Mewstone Ledges, the most scenic UK dive I have done, gullies bursting with green sea lettuce, snakelocks anemones, pink sea fans..plus the shoals of bib, silvery bass, cheeky tom-pot blennies, awesome cuttlefish and even a dolphin in the water with us! Diving with grey seals in Lundy and the Farne Islands is an unforgettable privilege, playing and barrel-rolling with these beautiful, gentle mammals. And many a wonderful dive too with turtles, oceanic whitetip sharks and magnificent hammerheads in the distant reefs of the Red Sea.
