Scapa Flow Diving Trips

Anyone interested in a week's diving on the sunken wrecks of Scapa Flow aboard the MV Radiant Queen visit Radiant queen website
The trip will run from Sunday 25th September 2011 and includes six days diving and accommodation, (sorry food is extra but well worth it), for seven nights with a cost in the region of £428 this does drop when we book all 12 places.

If you are interested please give (Steve Phibbs) a ring on 07525 155098 .

Emily is the skipper who owns and runs the Radiant Queen and is a very experienced skipper and knows these waters very well.

A charter week runs from Sunday – Friday, 6 days diving aboard the MV Radiant Queen.

Accommodation is for 7 nights (Saturday – Friday) on-shore in Stromness in their own 'divers lodge'.
Accomodation is a large self catering house only 60metres from the boat.
The house has 5/6 bedrooms all with sinks and lockable doors, 4 bathrooms, kitchen diner, living room, kit store, washing machine & tumble dryer, wireless internet. All linen & large fluffy towels are included.

The charter includes:
• 7 nights' accommodation
• 6 days diving (2 dives per day)
• the use of a single 12l or 15l cylinder if required
• use of lead weights (please bring your own belts)
• air fills (nitrox available charged extra, trimix by prior arrangement)
• as much tea, coffee & biscuits as you can consume! After dive pints of tea served as standard!!!!
• accurate dive briefings - Over 25 years combined experience diving the German Fleet

Lunch can also be provided aboard priced at £7.50 per person per day. The food they supply is fast gaining the reputation as the best in Scapa, a typical lunch would be lasagne followed by apple pie and custard. Fresh local produce is used and the home baking is fantastic! Pre-booking is essential and special dietary requirements can be catered for.

Should you require any equipment hire this can also be arranged for you through Scapa Scuba.

*Accommodation would be at divers lodge to include the top floor 3 bedrooms with shared kitchen and living rooms
** Small groups and individuals will be offered rooms in their lodge with shared kitchen and living room facilities.

Boat Info
The MV Radiant Queen is a 52 feet day boat. They offer the same diving packages as the liveaboard boats but with Radiant Queen Charters you have the best of both worlds. A large and comfortable house to relax in rather than a pokey cabin
and aboard the boat all of the space is geared up for diving. As such they have a spacious and large saloon above decks
with ample room for 12 to sit comfortably. Below decks they have a big heated dry changing room with large individual lockers, a spotless toilet and a wet changing room and kit store.
Access to downstairs is via a hatch inside the saloon to the dry room or from a separate hatch from the wet room to the dive deck. This allows you to go downstairs in the dry get changed into suits and come up outside - fab! The boat is well maintained, comfortable and very clean.
Radiant Queen has bench seating, plenty of room for 12 twinsets/ rebreathers and tanks are filled where you sit so no lugging of equipment. The compressor is an 18cfm Bauer with all the necessary filters for O2 clean bottles.

The MV Radiant Queen is Rebreather friendly with a gas booster for your high pressure O2 fills. Of course all emergency safety equipment is carried as standard including O2 kits.

DIVER LIFT - NEW FOR 2011
