Two Centre Holiday in the Northern & Southern Philippines

February 16th - March 3rd 2008

Once again we are offering a fantastic trip to the Philippines. We will be flying with Singapore Airlines (rated one of the best airlines in the world). Departing Heathrow on 16th February, Flights are to Manilla with a quick changeover in Singapore or Hong Kong. We will then stay at Puerto Galeria on Sabang Beach with unlimited boat diving on local reefs and wrecks. Most of these sites are a mere 3 minutes to a max of 15 minutes away from the dive centre. On 24th February we will depart Puerto Galeria and then fly to Dumaguette on the Island of Negros in the far south of the Philippines. Again we will be diving local reefs by boat.

The resort at Dumaguette has it's own house reef with some fascinating critters. You are likely to easily find frog fish, sea spiders, flamoyant cuttlefish, mantis shrimps, and a pletrhora of colourful nudibranchs. On or last day we then sail and drive back to Manilla where we can enjoy the city prior to our flight home on the 3rd of March.

Diving in Puerto Galeria & Dumaguete is very special. Macro Photography is essential here.The small critters that are not found elsewhere around the world is what bring Divers to the Philippines This is oir fouth visit to these two sites and our divers are still amazed at the number of different types of fish and fauna that they continue to find.

The local Philippino custom is very friendly and they always have a smile and are happy to meet visitors. The food offered in the resort and the local eating places is varied with good selections of local dishes as well as continental style dishes.

The hight life for those that like to party in the evening is very lively and only a short walk away in Puerto Galeria. In Dumaguette you will need to go into the main city (Approx 15 mins) by Motor-Trike or resort Taxi. The local Trikes are the most enjoyable way to travel, its how the locals get about. The most interesting part of Trikes is how many people can travel on just one Trike. I have counted 7 people on one, "not very safe but interesting to watch"
