MALAYSIA DIVING HOLIDAYS

lionfishWe are pleased to announce a truly great trip to Borneo and the "Divers Paradise Island" of Sipadan.

Borneo, the World's third largest island, is located between the Malaysian peninsula, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Diving at Sipadan is rated as the best in the world. The waters are calm and warm, visibility is good, and the quantity and variety of marine life is astounding. On an average day of diving at Sipadan, you would expect to see at least 50 Green Turtles, a dozen sharks, large schools of Barracudas, Jacks, Fusaliers and Batfish. 15 metres from the beach, is a vertical wall starting at a depth of 3 metres and plunging straight down 600 metres.

The Itinerary:-
We will be flying from Heathrow to Kota Kinabalu in the province of Sabah, North Borneo. Malaysia Airlines will be the Intenational flight company, we will be touching down in Kuala Lumpar Airport on route.

Once in Kota Kinabalu we will stay for 2 nights at the Sutera Magellan Resort prior to departing to Mabul. Rooms will be Deluxe Suites overlooking the Sea with spectacular sunsets. Following our stay in Mabul we will return to Sutera for a further 7 nights to take in local diving, a short 15 minute boat ride to Pulau Mamutik, in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine park which offers a perfect site for Scuba diving as well as some fine Macro Photograhy diving. Also local expeditions available to Borneo Railway, Orangutang sanctuary, or climbing Mount Kinabalu, etc.

coral grouperOnward to Mabul we will fly from K.K. to Tawau airport (40mins) and take in the arial beauty of Mount Kinabalu, truly spectacular views. Once in Tawau Borneo Divers transports us by road to the seaside town of Semporna (60 mins) where our ferry boat departs for Mabul in the morning (60 mins depending on conditions).

Borneo Divers Mabul occupies the Island's prime location.
Accommodations are beach chalets, simple but comfortable. The Dining hall is located centrally, and the dive station is no more than a 2 minute walk from any room.

Diving on Mabul was Pioneered by Borneo Divers. Below the water, Mabul and Sipadan's topography and abundant marine life make it one of the world's most desired destinations. For Photographers and Videographers bring plenty of film !!.

Diving schedule is 3 dives a day with unlimited shore diving. Night diving is truly an unforgettable experience. The drop off at Sipadan also houses the well known "Turtle Cave", where white tip sharks are constantly partrolling the area. Spectacular shark shots can be achieved here at any time of day. Huge schools of Bump head Parrot fish cruise around as do massive schools of Jacks. Turtle's can be seen mating whilst sitting on the beach and at night the female turtles come ashore to lay their eggs.
