Emergency First Response with Automated External Defibrillator Course.
How long does this course take? Approx 2.5 – 4 hours.
During the Emergency First Response course you will learn how to deal with life threatening emergencies.
You will become more comfortable in being able to respond to others in a time of need.
Any one of any age who wishes to learn the basic steps in Emergency First Aid care can take this course.
This course takes just 1 day to complete. We also can also arrange privately tailored courses to meet your requirements and schedule.
This course focuses on primary care and secondary care of a casualty through knowledge and skill development sessions and realistic scenarios.
This practice ensures that participants have the ability and confidence to provide basic care when an emergency situation arises.
You will be covering:
EFR first aid scene safety assessment
Use of Barriers
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Conscious and Unconscious Obstruction of Airway
You may also be completing during your course how to use an automated external de-fibrillator (AED)
For your home study you will also receive:
A full colour illustrated EFR Student Manual, a student EFR DVD showing all the skills.
On completion you will also receive your EFR PIC certification card.
Course fee’s and includes Manual,DVD and certification card.
If 2 years or more have lapsed since your last EFR course it is advisable that you complete an EFR Refresher course to keep yourself update with the latest First Aid protocols of care.
